FALLEN VOICES OF 911

Fallen Voices of 9/11 is an installation at the National September 11 Memorial & Museum that tells the story of the 102 minutes before the towers fell. The installation features 102 microcassette tapes that are cast in concrete and hung in a space of infinite darkness. The installation is meant to demonstrate the complexity of remembering 9/11 and how the city's metaphorical and sacred meaning was reshaped.
